3M™ Blackout Film F506 is a 17.3 mil textured, polyvinyl chloride film used to provide the blackout appearance around automotive side glass. Black film features a textured surface for seamless integration into vehicle designs without the masking and materials involved in painting. It is available pre masked and die cut for efficient application. High peel adhesive ensures a durable bond.

3M™ Paint Replacement Film offers multiple benefits for automotive manufacturers. 3M’s engineered solutions provide project planning, training and documentation, prototype and pilot production assistance, and ongoing, responsive manufacturing support.Our proven materials contribute to design effectiveness and reinforce the branding message while simplifying manufacturing. The films are available in textured, low gloss or high gloss finishes to match the design intent of the vehicle. Film use eliminates the paint process and cumbersome masking and de-masking, helping to reduce reject levels.
